Charlie Hull’s Memorable Night at Windsor Castle
English golfer Charlie Hull described her evening at Windsor Castle as “unforgettable” after attending a state banquet where she met former President Donald Trump.
A recent winner of the Kroger Queen City Championship, Hull shared pictures on Instagram showcasing her champagne-colored dress, complete with a halter top.
“We’ve swapped our golf attire for something a bit more glamorous,” she noted in her Instagram story.
The talented golfer, who previously made headlines for a quirky moment involving smoking on the course, attended the banquet while carrying Yves Saint Laurent bags and wearing stylish pointy heels.
“What a night at Windsor Castle,” Hull wrote in her post. “It was an honor to be invited by the King and Queen, and meeting President Trump was a great experience.”
Fresh off her championship win, Hull was riding high. She had just secured her first title of the 2025 season, leading the sport as she competed against top golfer Jeeno Thitikul, who faced challenges on the final hole.
“It’s not over until it’s over,” Hull said, recalling the pressure of making that crucial putt. “But I really didn’t expect that; I had to take my time with that last shot.”
Celebrating her recent success, Hull reflected on the competition, acknowledging Thitikul’s strong performance while expressing sympathy for the struggles she faced on the final hole.
“At the end, I felt I needed a little luck these past few years,” Hull admitted, extending her thoughts on the unpredictability of the game.
Recently, Hull had an unfortunate incident where she tripped in a parking lot, but she seems to have recovered well.
Previously, she had to withdraw from the Amundi Evian Championship in France after feeling unwell, which had hindered her earlier training efforts.
Hull, who also appeared in the film “Happy Gilmore 2,” shared a snapshot of herself in medical boots as she continued her recovery from that injury.
