Erica Kirk Appointed CEO and Chair of Turning Point USA
Erica Kirk has been chosen as the new CEO and chair of Turning Point USA, a conservative grassroots organization co-founded by her late husband, Charlie, who died in 2012. The organization announced her unanimous election on Thursday.
According to the board, Charlie had previously expressed his wishes for Erica to take over, as noted in their statement. “He indicated to several executives that this was his desire,” the board shared.
In light of her husband’s recent assassination, Erica has pledged to uphold his legacy. “Charlie prepared us all for a moment like this,” the board continued, emphasizing that he worked hard to make sure Turning Point USA was resilient enough to face significant challenges. “We will not yield to evil, and we will carry on.”
