Raja Jackson, son of Rampage Jackson, taken into custody for assaulting a wrestler.

Raja Jackson was arrested following a brutal attack on a wrestler during an event in August.

According to jail records, Jackson was taken into custody by LAPD on Thursday morning and processed before 2 p.m. local time.

He is facing felony charges and is currently held on a bond of $50,000.

The incident, which occurred at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in California, involved Jackson violently assaulting Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu. Witnesses reported that Jackson jumped into the ring and slammed Smith to the mat, causing him to lose consciousness before others intervened.

LAPD confirmed they were investigating the matter. In a recent interview, Jackson’s father, UFC legend Rampage Jackson, shared that he has stopped talking to his son. He expressed disappointment, stating that his son has “dishonored” him. “I know he’s my son, but I haven’t spoken to him since this happened,” he said.

Rampage further commented that perhaps some time in prison would do his son good.

In late August, Smith’s family provided an update on his health, indicating he had been released from the hospital but had suffered significant head injuries. They noted he was conscious upon arrival at the emergency room and is on a long road to recovery, but remains in good spirits despite the challenges ahead.
