Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Ceremony Details
The additional memorial service for Charlie Kirk is set to take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, beginning on Sunday at 11 a.m. local time. The event is titled “Building a Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk.”
Charlie Kirk, a 31-year-old conservative activist, was killed by an assassin’s bullet while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
President Donald Trump is expected to speak at the service, alongside Kirk’s widow, Erica Kirk, and Vice President J.D. Vance. Other notable speakers include White House Chief of Staff Susie Wills, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., among others.
The event will also feature performances by Christian artists such as Chris Tomlin and Kari Jobe, adding a spiritual touch to the remembrance.
For those looking to attend, registration is available on the Turning Point USA website. However, it’s worth noting that this is not a ticketed event, and entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Here are a few logistical details for attendees:
- The parking lot opens at 7 a.m.
- Parking is limited—consider carpooling or using ride-sharing services.
- Doors open at 8 a.m.
- No personal items permitted, with the exception of one 16-ounce bottle of water.
- If capacity is exceeded, overflow seating will be available in the nearby arena.
- Camping is not allowed on the premises.
“This event will be the first of its kind based on stadium capacity,” organizers from TPUSA stated, also advising attendees to prepare for enhanced security measures which may cause delays.
State Farm Stadium typically accommodates around 63,400 guests but can expand to host up to 73,000. Notably, law enforcement has announced that drones will not be permitted in the area.
In her first public statement on September 12, two days following her husband’s death, Erica Kirk expressed her grief, saying, “My husband gave his life for our country, for our children. I struggle to articulate the profound loss I feel. I trust that God has a plan, though I can’t fully grasp it.”
