Priscilla Presley Discusses Her Relationship with Robert Kardashian

In her forthcoming memoir titled “I’ll Leave You, Life After Elvis,” Priscilla Presley shares intriguing insights about her past romance with Robert Kardashian. She recounts a surprising moment when Elvis, her famous ex-husband, called while she was in bed with Kardashian. Priscilla states, “He would have probably been ballistic if he had known Robert was in my bedroom, literally. Elvis always had a loaded gun and sometimes multiple guns.”

At 80 years old, Priscilla began her relationship with Kardashian in 1975, shortly after her divorce from Elvis in 1973 and her brief affair with karate instructor Mike Stone. Kardashian married Kris Jenner in 1978, gaining fame for being a stepfather to her four children before their divorce in 1991.

“Robert was a sweet guy, and I liked him,” she shares, though she notes that his demanding career as a Hollywood lawyer made things quite challenging for their relationship. It seems that balancing his job and their romance wasn’t the easiest task.

A representative for Priscilla didn’t respond to requests for comments. Insider reports from 2023 mentioned that Kardashian, who passed away from cancer in 2003, had aspirations to marry Priscilla.

According to a friend of Kardashian, he was indeed happy with Priscilla. “He wanted to marry her and have a child with her,” Joni Migdal said. This was certainly part of his hopes and plans. It’s interesting to think about how life might have turned out differently.

One friend recounted a story where Kardashian expressed frustration about Elvis’s constant influence. There was even a moment when Priscilla reportedly allowed Robert to listen in on her personal conversation with Elvis by placing the phone on the pillow between them. The dynamics of that triangle must have been something else!

Priscilla and Kardashian, it appears, maintained a friendship until his death in 2003. She reflects fondly on their connection in her memoir, noting, “Robert and I had a final conversation before he passed away. He is a kind man, and I remember him with great affection.”

“I’ll Leave You, Life After Elvis” is set to be released on September 23rd, and it promises to offer readers a deeper glimpse into her life beyond Elvis.
