Venus Williams is clearly thrilled about her wedding to fiancé Andrea Pretti, evident from her choice of attire during a recent outing in Italy. On Thursday, she was seen in a white dress paired with black sneakers as she rode a golf cart through the charming village of Santangero.

Adding a touch of flair, she wore a custom white sun hat that said “sig.ra preti.” In Italian, “sig.ra” means “Mrs.”, hinting at her eagerness for the big day.

Observers noted that some members of her wedding party sported “Team Groom” and “Team Bride” t-shirts, contributing to the celebratory atmosphere.

Williams and Pretti, 37, are reportedly set to exchange vows during a private ceremony at a lighthouse perched on a cliff on an Italian island near the Amalfi coast. Following the ceremony, guests will be treated to a reception at the exclusive Lisola restaurant, with a menu inspired by Naples.

It seems like a beautiful setting for their nuptials, although, to be honest, I wonder how they’ll manage everything in such a picturesque location.

A representative for Williams did not respond immediately when contacted for comments. Recently, she confirmed her engagement to Pretti, a Danish-born actor and producer, after months of speculation about their relationship.

In a recent post-game interview, Williams shared, “My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to continue playing.” The couple was first linked romantically in July 2024 during a boat trip on the Amalfi coast, but they’ve kept their relationship mostly out of the limelight since then.

Meanwhile, Williams’ sister, Serena, seems to be taking an active role in the wedding preparations. She mentioned dealing with a lot of planning tasks, noting, “Did she want me to help her with some dresses or was her hairstyle?” It sounds like she’s quite involved and enjoys the organizing aspect. “I’m the one who gets things done,” she added, highlighting her penchant for planning events.
