Massive Memorial for Charlie Kirk Draws Attention
On a Sunday afternoon, millions of Americans tuned in to a service led by Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The event featured prominent political figures, including former President Donald Trump, along with conservative media personalities and religious leaders. This memorial, honoring the founders of TPUSA, was one of the largest gatherings for private citizens. For many who couldn’t attend, Fox News was the go-to source for coverage.
Between 1:30 PM and 7:15 PM ET, Fox News attracted4.8 million viewers during its special coverage of the memorial, significantly outpacing CNN, which garnered only 330,000 viewers, and MSNBC with 251,000 in the same timeframe.

Incredibly, Fox News also excelled in key demographics, particularly among adults aged 25-54, pulling in a staggering 687,000 viewers, compared to MSNBC’s mere 21,000.
During the broadcast, Fox News achieved 89% of its total audience, and an impressive 91% among cable news viewers in important ratings categories. From 1:30 PM to 6 PM ET, Kaylee McInerney and Lawrence Jones’ four-hour special, titled “Remembering Charlie Kirk,” averaged 4.5 million viewers, surpassing both CNN and MSNBC.
Viewership peaked at 6 PM when Erika Kirk delivered powerful remarks, resonating deeply with the audience.
According to YouTube Analytics, the live stream of the memorial fetched 2.2 million views, marking it as the third most-watched live stream of 2025.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10 during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University. This rally was intended to kick off a nationwide comeback tour for TPUSA.
Trump referred to Kirk as “our biggest evangelist for American freedom” during his remarks, proclaiming that he has become immortalized in the hearts of many. He also stated that Kirk would be honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the near future, which is the nation’s highest civilian honor.
Another poignant moment came when Erica Kirk shared that she had forgiven the alleged murderer of her husband.
TPUSA disclosed to Fox News Digital that approximately 90,000 people attended the memorial, with around 70,000 filling the stadium to capacity. An additional 10,000 gathered at a nearby overflow venue, and another 10,000 watched from a distant viewing area.
