Shiro Sanders Pursues NFL Career

Shiro Sanders is actively looking to make his mark in the NFL. Recently, the former University of Colorado player spent time at the 49ers’ training facility. According to reports, this was noted by NBC Sports Bay Area.

Interestingly, his father, Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, was also present with other players seeking tryouts.

This training session comes at a pivotal moment, especially after the 49ers lost star pass rusher Nick Bosa to a season-ending ACL injury during their latest game against the Cardinals.

In response to this situation, the 49ers added lineman William Bradley King to their practice squad; he had previously been with the team during preseason.

Shiro, who went undrafted, initially signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was let go after a turbulent preseason—including a fine for an incident involving a Bills player.

After his short stint with the Buccaneers, there were questions regarding his next steps. Deion Sanders remarked, in a recent episode of The Colorado Football Coach Show, that he anticipated Shiro might pursue different paths, perhaps acting or streaming, which he seemed suited for.

Shiro, now 25, hinted at a potential relocation to Los Angeles, expressing interest in both acting and music. He shared on his YouTube channel that while a temporary base in Tampa remains until December, he’s been contemplating the opportunities LA could offer.

“I think we got a spot in Tampa until December,” he mentioned. “But I’ve been thinking about LA for the acting stuff and the music. There are a lot of people working on music videos with me.”
