In another clip, he hit a powerful shot off the tee, leading the crowd to chant “America!” and cheering loudly in response. Just moments later, he launched a 200 mph ball, prompting cheers from fans who exclaimed, “Rory can’t do that, Bryson!”

The comments hinted at the ongoing rivalry between DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy, adding a layer of excitement to the event.

This marked the first day fans could enter the course at Bethpage State Park, occurring less than a day after golf analyst Brandel Chamblee had criticized DeChambeau, labeling him a “Captain’s Nightmare.”

In stark contrast, American Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley offered a different viewpoint on DeChambeau. He emphasized, “Bryson faces unique challenges.
