Best 50 PPR tight ends for fantasy football in Week 4

Fantasy Football Updates: Week 4 Insights

As we head into the fourth week of the fantasy football season, last week brought some exciting developments in tight end performances. Both Hunter Henry and Mark Andrews rebounded from slower starts, each scoring two touchdowns, which is certainly a relief for those who have been counting on them. Aside from that, Jake Ferguson had a notable outing with 13 catches for 82 yards, which was a bit unexpected, to say the least.

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, but there seems to be a bit of a struggle on match day. This week, the Ravens are gearing up to face the Chiefs, so that should be interesting.

Ja’tavion Sanders, Panthers

Sanders suffered a sprained ankle in the third week and will be out for several weeks. Tommy Tremble is stepping up as the main tight end, though he might not be a valuable asset for fantasy teams. Hunter Renfrow could also be a target this week for the Patriots, possibly offering some intrigue.

Meanwhile, Dissly missed practice last week due to a knee issue and was unable to play. The tight end snaps were shared among Oronde Gadsden, Tyler Conklin, and Tucker Fisk. Gadsden, though, stood out as a target, finishing the game with seven catches, landing him second on the team.

Loveland is dealing with a hip injury from the game against the Cowboys but could potentially be in action against the Raiders. If he’s unable to play, Cole Kmet is expected to step in, though he may not have much fantasy appeal.

Phant is recovering from a concussion he sustained in week three and needs to be cleared to play this week against the Broncos.

Hunter Henry vs. Panthers

This season has been somewhat slow for Henry, but last week he turned it around against the Steelers, racking up eight receptions from 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns. It’s encouraging to see him get a favorable matchup against the Panthers at home.

Oronde Gadsden vs. Giants

Gadsden didn’t see much action last week, mainly because Will was putting pressure on him, but when he was on the field, Justin Herbert managed to target him. With just 15 routes recorded by PFF, Gadsden still caught five out of seven targets for 46 yards.
