Mike Wolfe’s Girlfriend Faces Long Recovery After Car Accident

Mike Wolfe’s girlfriend, Leticia Klein, is navigating a challenging recovery journey following a serious car accident the couple was involved in.

Wolfe, who is 61, has been released from the hospital after the incident on September 12. An official statement confirmed that he is now focusing on his follow-up appointments, especially for injuries to his knee and wrist.

However, Klein’s situation is notably more complicated. “She remains hospitalized and recently underwent significant jaw surgery, which was required after fractures in three places,” a spokesperson for Wolfe explained. “Her surgical team regarded it as one of the most challenging cases they’ve ever encountered. Though the surgery was successful, she is in considerable pain and faces a lengthy recovery ahead.”

Wolfe and Klein have been dating since 2021, and both sustained severe injuries in the crash in Columbia, Tennessee. Wolfe suffered broken bones in his nose, knee injuries, and facial lacerations that needed stitches.

Klein, on the other hand, endured a broken jaw, sternum, and rib, along with partially collapsed lungs. Sharing her experience on social media, she indicated that her “mouth is shut down” as part of her healing process.

An official representing Wolfe remarked, “They will provide updates as much as they can. For now, we ask everyone to keep Leticia in their thoughts as she courageously embarks on this long healing path.”

The couple has expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support they’ve received through calls, texts, and prayers. “Your love has meant so much to them. They also feel thankful for the exceptional care at Vanderbilt and are confident they are in good hands,” the spokesperson mentioned.

In recent social media updates, Wolfe shared intimate moments, including one where he is seen lying beside Klein in her hospital bed while wearing a neck brace. He acknowledged the tough times but noted, “There’s a light at the end of the tunnel.” He also expressed his belief in the power of collective prayer and thanked everyone for their support.

Wolfe is widely recognized for his role on the popular History Channel show “American Pickers,” which recently entered its 27th season, coinciding with the passing of his former co-star, Frank Fritz.
