Top DFS selections for Cowboys vs Packers in Week 4

In this Sunday Night Football matchup, the Green Bay Packers are favored by 6.5 points as they head to Dallas to face the Cowboys. There’s an interesting backstory here: Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had previously traded Micah Parsons, the team’s standout defensive player, to the Packers right before the season kicked off. Now, as the Cowboys focus on their offensive line with Cooper Beebe and Tyler Biadasz, they’re facing challenges against a tough Packers defensive front led by Parsons.

The Cowboys are also feeling the pinch on offense. CeeDee Lamb is sidelined for the next few games due to an ankle sprain. His absence is a big deal—as we saw last week against the Bears—where the offense struggled significantly without him.

For the Packers, their offensive performance has dipped this season. Jaden Reed, a key receiver, has stepped up, but losing him last week was concerning. Still, his absence may not be as detrimental as the loss of Lamb for the Cowboys.

Let’s take a look at some of the promising DFS picks for this Sunday night showdown.

George Pickens, WR, Cowboys (Flex $10,600, CPT $15,900)

With Lamb out, Pickens stands out as the nearest option to a No. 1 receiver. While Jalen Tolbert, Kavontae Turpin, and Jake Ferguson are in the mix, Pickens offers the best security for the Cowboys, who are currently the underdogs in this matchup. The Cowboys will be leaning on the passing game, and Pickens has the skill to make challenging catches against a strong defense.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Packers (Flex $8,000, CPT $12,000) Matthew Golden, WR, Packers (Flex $6,600, CPT $9,900)

This season, the Cowboys have been more susceptible to big plays, and it shows. They allowed several completions over 20 yards in multiple games—over 444 yards and five touchdowns, to be precise. The Packers’ receivers have solid matchups, with Golden getting targets that exceed 20 yards slightly more than Doubs. Doubs has shown consistency, but Golden is an appealing option at a lower cost. His increased involvement last week was encouraging.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Packers (Flex $xx, CPT $)

This week, Jacobs is the highest-priced player to roster. Despite being a bit pricey, there are plenty of valuable options in this game. If the Packers take control, they’ll likely focus on running the ball. Jordan Love is currently 23rd in passing attempts, while Jacobs ranks second in rushing this season. Despite the Cowboys’ defenses not being terrible against the pass, they rank lower in rush defense metrics, and if the Packers secure a lead, expect them to run the clock down.

Kavonte Turpin, WR, Cowboys (Flex $5,400, CPT $8,100)

Turpin and Tolbert represent good value plays, especially since the Cowboys may have to rely on the pass if they fall behind. Personally, I prefer Turpin; his ability to create plays after the catch is promising. Sure, Tolbert might receive more targets, but it’s tough for the offensive line to maintain against Parsons to get him the ball.

Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Packers (Flex $6,000, CPT $9,000)

Wicks didn’t make much of an impact in his debut as a starter, but he finds himself in a better matchup this week at a lower price, which makes him intriguing.
