Bad Bunny Takes the Stage at Super Bowl 2026
Bad Bunny is definitely making waves in the U.S.
After his impressive 30-concert residency last summer at San Juan’s Coliseo in Puerto Rico, it’s now official: he’ll be performing at halftime during the 2026 Super Bowl, set in Santa Clara, California.
He shared, “…This is for my people, my culture, and our history.”
In a recent post on Twitter X, he mentioned, “I’ve been thinking about it. I think I’ll just do one date in the U.S. after discussing it with my team.”
Jay-Z, involved with the NFL’s live music, expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m thrilled that Benito is representing Puerto Rico on such a grand stage.”
If you’re hoping to catch this chart-topping artist, he’s known for hits like “DTMF”, “Lacansion”, “Dilez”, “Dakitty”, and “Me Porto Bonito”.
Before the Super Bowl, the 31-year-old will also be featured as a musical guest on the season 51 premiere of “Saturday Night Live” with Doja Cat on October 4th. This will mark his return after being a guest for the season 50 finale. He’ll be the first non-cast member to perform in back-to-back episodes.
Following the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny will embark on a world tour from May to July 2026, visiting countries like Spain, Germany, the UK, France, and Italy.
During his Puerto Rico residency, it was said that “Benito delivered three hours of sights and celebrations, showcasing Puerto Rico’s vibrancy.” Reviews highlighted the cultural richness reflected in his elaborate set.

Bad Bunny New Music
On January 5th, he released his sixth studio album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” This album features tracks that blend dance rhythms with catchy tunes. I have to say, as soon as I heard some tracks, I immediately added them to my running playlist! They would sound fantastic live.
The album showcases some strong songs, with personal favorites being “Baile inolvidable” and “Café Con Ron.” Honestly, the entire album is delightful from start to finish.
