NFL Power Rankings after Week 5

It’s that time again—ranking the teams in the NFL. So, who stands tall as the best? Right now, only two teams are still undefeated: the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles and the rising Bills.

Conversely, at the bottom of the list, three teams are searching for their first win: the Saints, Titans, and Jets. Everyone else seems a bit stuck in the middle, struggling to make a mark—or, in the case of the Jaguars, grasping for attention.

1. Bills 4-0

In a surprisingly tough game, Josh Allen led the Bills to a 31-19 win against the Saints, completing a 27-yard run and tossing a 28-yard touchdown pass. The Bills have now claimed 14 consecutive regular-season victories at home, just one shy of tying the franchise record. James Cook contributed with 117 rushing yards and a touchdown.

2. Eagles 4-0

The Eagles pulled off a 31-25 victory over the Buccaneers, showcasing two different versions of their well-known Tush Push. Saquon Barkley scored on a six-yard run, and Dallas Goedert caught a two-yard touchdown pass. Their defense stood tall, halting a 12-play fourth-down drive in the last minute of the game.

3. Lions 3-1

Jared Goff found Amon-Ra St. Brown for two touchdown throws, leading to a 34-10 rout of the Browns. Meanwhile, Kalif Raymond made headlines with a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown. Goff may have had a season-low in completion percentage and passing yards, but Aidan Hutchinson notched sacks in three games straight and forced fumbles in the last two.

4. Chiefs 2-2

Are the Chiefs back in the swing of things? Patrick Mahomes looked great in their 37-20 victory over the Ravens, throwing for 270 yards and four touchdowns to different receivers. Xavier Worthy also made an impact, racking up 121 yards after returning from injury.

5. Packers 2-1-1

A chaotic draw with the Cowboys saw Jordan Love throw for 337 yards and three touchdowns, all caught by Romeo Doubs. Brandon McManus successfully kicked a field goal to tie things up as time expired, pushing the game into overtime.

6. Buccaneers 3-1

Baker Mayfield achieved remarkable throws of 77 yards to Emeka Egbuka and 72 yards to Bucky Irving. Chase McLaughlin made NFL history with a 65-yard field goal at an outdoor stadium. However, a late interception by Mayfield led to a defeat by the Eagles.

7. Rams 3-1

A fourth-quarter touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua helped the Rams turn a seven-point deficit into a 27-20 win over the Colts. Kam Curl sealed the victory with his second interception of the day.

8. Chargers 3-1

The Chargers appeared to be finding their footing but stumbled against the Giants, losing 21-18. Justin Herbert’s interception came as a disappointment and highlighted a failure to capitalize on solid rushing stats.

9. Seahawks 3-1

Jason Myers lifted the Seahawks to a 23-20 victory over the Cardinals with a clutch 52-yard field goal. The game-winning drive included a key 22-yard pass from Sam Darnold.

10. Ravens 1-3

Lamar Jackson faced a setback with a hamstring issue, and seven defenders were sidelined during their loss to the Chiefs. It’s tough to overlook that all three losses came against top-tier teams, though Derrick Henry had another off day with only eight attempts for 42 yards.

11. Colts 3-1

12. Steelers 3-1

13. Jaguars 3-1

14. 49ers 3-1

15. Broncos 2-2

16. Falcons 2-2

17. Commanders 2-2

18. Cowboys 1-2-1

19. Vikings 2-2

20. Bears 2-2

21. Bengals 2-2

22. Cardinals 2-2

23. Patriots 2-2

24. Giants 1-3

The Jackson Darts era kicked off with a bang as the rookie quarterback ran a touchdown and threw for another in his debut, leaving an imprint on the Chargers. Defensive players made crucial plays, including a significant interception.

25. Texans 1-3

26. Panthers 1-3

27. Raiders 1-3

28. Browns 1-3

29. Dolphins 1-3

30. Jets 0-4

Frustration grew for the Jets after a penalty-heavy game led to a 27-21 loss against the Dolphins. Justin Fields dazzled with a 43-yard touchdown run, but it wasn’t enough to erase the team’s struggles from behind.

31. Titans 0-4

32. Saints 0-4
