Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony shares amazing one-word reaction to surprising 'DWTS' elimination

Now she is “Working from home.”

Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui made a lighthearted comment after her elimination from “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday evening.

When asked about her feelings on leaving the ABC dance competition, she simply replied, “I was upset.”

The audience chuckled, and her dance partner, Brandon Armstrong, joined in with hearty laughter.

The 29-year-old expressed her gratitude towards Armstrong, saying, “I’m so grateful that I had you as a partner.”

The honesty of her response was met with laughter from those in attendance.

During the episode, themed “TikTok Night,” Jauregui and Armstrong performed their 2017 hit “Work from Home,” incorporating moves from the original music video, which was choreographed by Shawn Bankhead, who was present to support them.

Among the audience were her bandmates from Fifth Harmony: Normani, Dinah Jane, and Ally Brooke, though Camila Cabello was absent.

Fans reacted to Jauregui’s straightforward reaction to her early exit, with comments like, “I loved her honesty. I was angry too!” and “Honestly, there’s no way anyone has a bigger fan base than Lauren.”

One fan added, “She perfectly articulated what made me mad.”

Jauregui’s performance and sincerity drew comparisons to former participant Anna Delvy, who had also shared her feelings candidly when eliminated in an earlier season.

In a post-show interview, Jauregui elaborated on her experience, expressing genuine regret about not continuing on the show and saying, “It’s a very special place, and I’m angry about that.”
