Ways to watch the Vikings vs. Browns game in London during Week 5

NFL Games in London: Vikings vs. Browns Preview

The NFL is set to host games in London over the next three weeks, starting with the matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns this weekend.

This game is scheduled for 9:30 AM ET on Sunday, October 5th, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It will be broadcast exclusively on NFL Network, featuring Kenny Albert as the play-by-play commentator, with Jonathan Vilma providing analysis and Sarah Walsh reporting from the sidelines.

For the Vikings, this will be their second consecutive game played overseas. They faced the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin during week four but unfortunately lost 24-21, bringing their season record to 2-2.

Carson Wentz stepped in for the injured JJ McCarthy, marking his second start this season. His performance was a bit of a mixed bag—he managed 350 passing yards and two touchdowns but also tossed two interceptions. Meanwhile, star wide receiver Justin Jefferson had a standout game, recording 10 receptions for 126 yards.

The Browns enter this game with a 1-3 record after a tough 34-10 loss to the Detroit Lions in week four, prompting them to make changes at quarterback. The team announced that Dillon Gabriel will take the reins as the starting quarterback for this matchup against the Vikings, while Joe Flacco will serve as backup.

The Browns’ past four games have seen them struggle, completing over 58% of their passes for 815 yards but also dealing with a troubling six interceptions along the way.

Gabriel, who was drafted in the third round from Oregon, has only played in two games this season, mainly in situations that weren’t too competitive. In those appearances, he completed three of four passes and threw one touchdown for 19 yards. The team is hopeful that Gabriel can bring new energy to their offense and help secure a victory across the pond.
