If You Disregard Trans People, 'You Dislike America'

Transgender actor Indya Moore has expressed a desire to seek “asylum” from what he calls a “fascist” America. He stated that disregarding trans individuals equates to “hating America.”

In a lengthy and emotional series of Instagram videos, Moore—whose net worth is estimated at $3 million—argued that the U.S. government is oppressing the trans community while claiming that trans people “protect” others.

Moore reiterated the notion that neglecting trans concerns signifies a lack of patriotism.

At another point, he expressed his intention to seek asylum, urging American trans individuals to “defend” him and work towards “evacuation,” asserting that trans people contribute to family values.

“It’s really distressing to see clear reports about the federal government’s intentions to persecute trans individuals and potentially place them in concentration camps,” Moore said, visibly upset.

He questioned, “How do we transition from saying ‘trans people are mentally ill and need help’ to ‘trans people are terrorists?'”

In another segment of his speech, Moore voiced his confusion over restroom policies—if safety dictates separation by sex, why are trans women sent to men’s bathrooms?

With emotion, he exclaimed, “Why force us to use boys’ bathrooms when we know what could happen?” He expressed his fear of sharing restrooms with cisgender men, a thought that clearly troubled him deeply.

Moore also noted that a woman faced a $100,000 fine simply for wanting to “pee safely” in public facilities.

“That’s just wrong. Trans individuals aren’t mentally ill,” he asserted.

With tears welling in his eyes, Moore cried, “When will someone ask what it means to be a woman?”

He also addressed the perception that if viewers think he is oppressed, it raises questions about why he chooses to embrace a woman’s identity despite the challenges.

“When will you understand how it feels to be a woman in this world in 2025? To see what men do to women?” he demanded.

“I am treated as a woman in this world!” Moore exclaimed, adding that people continually take advantage of that identity while showing disregard for their experiences.
