Man, myth, molars.
A remarkable feat was accomplished by an Egyptian strongman and a group of wrestlers who managed to pull a 700-ton ship across the Red Sea using only ropes gripped in their teeth.
Ashraf Mahloo, or “Kabonga” as he’s known to his fans, performed this incredible stunt in the coastal city of Hagada on Saturday.
In a post-performance interview at Egypt’s Red Sea Resort, Mahloo mentioned, “Today I’m starting to break world records.”
After successfully pulling the hefty ship, the 44-year-old, hailing from Ismaria, further demonstrated his extraordinary strength by dragging two additional vessels totaling around 1,150 tons.
“I pulled both of them, thanks to God, my friends, and the entire world, to show that God has blessed me by being the strongest person in the world,” he declared.
The current Guinness World Record for the heaviest ship pulled is 614 tons, set in 2018, and Mahloo plans to submit his videos and photos to Guinness for official recognition of his attempts.
Additionally, Mahloo serves as the chairman of the Egyptian Federation of Professional Wrestlers and has wowed audiences in the past by pulling trains, locomotives, and trucks.
These achievements have significantly boosted his popularity, with children often chasing after him, referring to him simply as the “strong man.”
Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 341 pounds, Mahloo maintains a rigorous diet consisting of a daily egg, two chickens, and about 11 pounds of fish during his two-hour training sessions.
Interestingly, despite his tooth-pulling feats, Mahloo doesn’t visit the dentist. He uses mouth guards for stunts and prefers natural twigs called mizuwak to keep his teeth healthy.
As a recognized Guinness title holder for the heaviest rail pull and locomotive pull, Mahloo looks forward to setting even more jaw-dropping records. He plans to request permission from the Egyptian president to attempt to pull a 263,000-ton submarine in the future.
He even dreams of one day using only his eyelid muscles to pull an airplane.
Comes with post wire.
