Actor Richard Gere has once again criticized President Donald Trump, labeling him not just “crazy” but also referring to “dark, dark beings” that he claims are trying to undermine the country that largely supported Trump’s return to the White House.

Speaking from Barcelona, Spain, Gere issued a warning about what he perceives as an imminent threat, though he offered no supporting evidence for his statements.

When asked about his concerns for the future, Gere responded affirmatively, stating, “Of course,” and elaborated, “Not only is he crazy to us, he’s a dark and dark being. And it happened so quickly.”

Gere, known for films like Pretty Woman, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Chicago, also called for decisive action against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He remarked, “This is not someone who can change. He has to go, and all the enablers of the Union that he has together, they all have to go.”

Gere went on to say, “There are very good people on the Palestinian side, and unfortunately most of them are now in prison.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has come under fire from Gere, who is married to his Spanish wife, Alejandra Silva.

Previously, as noted by Breitbart News, Gere referred to Trump as a “bully” and a “thug,” describing his presidency as leading the country into “a very dark place.”

During an international Goya Prize event celebrating Spanish cinema, Gere used the platform to express his concerns about rising global authoritarianism, stating it is present “wherever.”

“We’re in a very dark place in America. There are bullies, thugs who are the president of America. But it’s not just in America, it’s everywhere,” he added.

He concluded with a warning about the encroachment of authoritarianism.

Back in the 2016 presidential election, Gere remarked to the BBC that Trump was a “nightmare for everyone” and voiced his disapproval of Trump’s campaign.
