In a chaotic time, Katie Hopkins' resilient spirit shines brightly.

In chaotic times, bold individuals can make a difference. Britain, which has gradually edged towards authoritarianism, found itself a controversial figure in Katie Hopkins, a British comedian and political commentator. Her edgy humor has led to her being deported from Australia, detained in Africa, enduring threats of imprisonment in the UK, and even facing near-fatal encounters with jihadists. Yet, she continues to assert her voice.

“I accept it all. If you face arrest upon returning home, embrace it. This is the moment for action. It will be tough, but this is when we’re truly living,” she expresses.

In a recent conversation with Glenn, Katie shared some of her most outrageous experiences and underscored her commitment to speaking out.

South Africa, 2018

Upon recognizing the lack of attention toward the alleged genocide of white South African farmers by black gangs, Katie made a bold choice. She moved to South Africa and spent three months living on a white farm.

Armed with reliable cameras and a security team, she filmed a documentary that unveiled the grim realities faced by white farmers, a scenario far from the narrative perpetuated by the media. “The nights on that farm are haunted by monsters,” she recounted.

She claimed that armed gangs, made up of black men using weapons left over from apartheid, targeted and brutalized white farmers and their families. The entire campaign was, according to her, “a targeted endeavor” that was, alarmingly, backed by local police.

She entered the country “covertly” and started releasing footage shortly after. “I chose to take that chance,” she remarked. However, the African National Congress soon caught wind of her presence and began pursuing her while she was on the farm.

“By the time I reached the airport, they were closing in on me,” she shared.

When she attempted to leave, Katie found that her passport had been flagged. Airport authorities confiscated it and held her captive. Fearing imprisonment in South Africa could lead to dire consequences, her security team was on high alert, prepared to defend her if needed.

Fortunately, luck was on her side that day. Since the police chief was off-duty, she was ultimately allowed to board her flight back home.

Australia, 2021

During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, Katie received a special visa waiver to compete in Big Brother VIP. Upon her arrival in Sydney, she was placed under a strict 14-day quarantine as part of the lockdown measures.

She was not allowed to leave her hotel room or even touch the door. Food was delivered under strict protocols; she had to wait a precise amount of time before she could retrieve it from her door.

After three days of confinement, Katie reached her breaking point. Channeling her inner Churchill, she streamed a YouTube video to three million viewers, denouncing what she viewed as Australia’s collective tyranny.

In a playful twist, she half-joked about escaping by running down the hall nude, covered in vegetable oil, and causing mayhem with a military officer.

Although her antics were exaggerated, major news networks like Al Jazeera and CNN claimed she actually breached quarantine rules.

Suddenly, her circumstances took a turn for the worse. “They cut off water and food,” she lamented, insisting that the Australian government had denied her visa and labeled her as an “illegal immigrant.”

Ultimately, she was escorted by two minibuses filled with men, placed in a van, and taken to the airport, where she noticed a giant “deportation” stamp on her passport.

In a defiant act, Katie visited a tattoo parlor post-deportation and got the stamp inked on her body. “I even sent a photo of it to the Australian deputy prime minister,” she chuckled.
