Reality Check at the Film Festival

What a surprise!

During a recent screening at the New York Film Festival for a documentary on Martin Scorsese, things took a rather unexpected turn. Among the Hollywood elite, one standout was a “real housewife” star who managed to steal the spotlight—at least for one diner.

Sources reported that Jodie Foster, Robert De Niro, Peter Dinklage, and Michael Imperioli from “White Lotus,” along with rocker Stephen Van Zandt, were all in attendance. The event celebrated Scorsese, notably the director of “Raging Bull,” after the premiere of the documentary titled “Mr. Scorsese.”

However, according to a source for Page 6, the highlight of the night wasn’t the legendary filmmakers there. Instead, it was a moment where a diner yelled at an ordinary patron, saying something along the lines of, “how dare you sit across from your boyfriend!”

For those who might not be familiar, Dubrow is a star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and not exactly the film festival type. Sources indicated that she and her partner were relaxing in a corner booth with friends.

The documentary, crafted by filmmaker Rebecca Miller, is set to debut on Apple TV+ on October 17 and includes interviews with big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, and Daniel Day-Lewis, who is also Miller’s husband, along with Foster and others. The film dives into the life and career of the iconic filmmaker, Scorsese.

The premiere featured not just the main stars but also directors Ali Astor and Josh Safdy, writers Jay Cock and Nick Pillage, and producer Irwin Winkler from “Rocky.”

Meanwhile, Dubrow will be making an appearance at Bravocon in Las Vegas from November 14th to 16th.

On a side note, it’s worth mentioning that Ralph Lauren recently announced the opening of a polo bar in London, which is set to launch in 2028 at Clubbee’s restaurant in 1 Hanover Square.
