Nicole Kidman Resurfaces on Instagram Post-Divorce Filing
Nicole Kidman has made her return to Instagram following her divorce filing from Keith Urban after nearly two decades of marriage.
Currently in Paris for Fashion Week, she shared a photo early Tuesday featuring her daughters, Faith (14) and Sunday (17), from the Chanel show. In her post, she expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you @chanelofficial for having me and my girls ❤️ So excited to be joining @matthieu_blazy.”
In the first image, Kidman wears a white button-down shirt paired with light denim jeans, flaunting new bangs, and adds a splash of color with a red jacket and a matching Chanel bag.
First Public Appearance Since Divorce Filing
Kidman also captured moments with renowned Australian director Baz Luhrmann and French actress Vanessa Paradis at the event.
Her A-list friends couldn’t help but shower her with compliments. Lindsay Lohan flooded the comments with heart emojis, while Kimberly, Brad Paisley’s wife, shared both heart and fire emojis.
Many fans jumped on the comments too. One user quipped, “It’s the worst to be alive and it’s only going to get hotter from here!” Another remarked on her independence, saying, “Single looks great on mom,” while someone else humorously added, “Who’s Keith? You look amazing!”
Kidman made her fashion-forward appearance just after Urban was seen for the first time following the divorce news. He performed at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he was notably not wearing his wedding ring.
On September 30, Kidman filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and ongoing “marital difficulties.” This marked the end of a 19-year marriage, with their separation date also noted as September 30.
In her court filing, the Oscar-winning actress requested primary custody of their daughters, pushing for a plan that allocates 306 days for her and 59 for Urban.
Kidman and Urban last appeared together publicly in June at a FIFA match in Nashville. They first met in 2005 and tied the knot a year later in Sydney.
