110 best fantasy football PPR wide receivers for Week 6

As Week 6 of the fantasy football season approaches, it’s a good moment to check in on the wide receiver situation. So far, Puka NaCua and Amon-Ra St. Brown are sitting at the top as the fantasy receivers of the year. That might come as a bit of a shock. Following them is rookie Emeka Egbuka. While his talent is well-known, it’s somewhat unexpected to see him performing at this level so quickly. Mike Evans’ absence has certainly contributed to this, but with Egbuka only having 25 receptions next to NaCua’s 52, it’s really impressive how efficiently the younger players are performing. With an average of 17.8 yards per catch, he’s leading all receivers with more than 15 receptions this season. Even when Evans returns, it seems improbable that the Buccaneers will just put him back into the role he once had.

Looking at some specific players, we have the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans.

Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Nico Collins are ones to keep an eye on.

Pearsore injured his knee in Week 4 against the Jaguars. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to be serious, and he has a decent chance of playing against the Falcons this week. He missed last week, but it’s a quick turnaround for Thursday night’s game. It looks promising for him to return after the mini-bye.

Jennings also sat out last week due to rib and ankle issues, but the mini-bye could be beneficial for him. With the 49ers up against the Buccaneers this week, there’s a good possibility they’ll have a more complete offense.

Lamb had an ankle injury against the Bears in Week 3, leading to missed games in Weeks 4 and 5. While he hasn’t practiced yet, he doesn’t seem likely to return this week. George Pickens remains the WR1 in his absence and is slated to face a lackluster Panthers defense.

Terry McLaurin, Commanders

McLaurin experienced a quad injury during a game against the Raiders in Week 3, but he may have the chance to return to action this week against the Bears on Monday night. We’ll need to see if he can make it back to practice. Meanwhile, Deebo Samuel continues to perform well in his absence.

For some games this week:

Chiefs vs. Lions (52.5)
Commanders vs. Bears (49.5)
Panthers vs. Cowboys (49.5)

Chiefs (27.5)
Commanders (27)
Colts (27)
Cowboys (26.5)

Lowest team totals projected

Bengals (14.5)
Giants (16.5)
Browns (16.5)
Titans (18)
Jets (18.3)
Ravens (18.5)

Packers vs. Bengals (14.5)
Giants vs. Eagles (-7.5)
Bills vs. Patriots (-8.5)
Colts vs. Raiders (-6.5)

Troy Franklin, Broncos vs. Jets

Franklin hasn’t really exploded again since his impressive game against the Colts, but he’s still the primary target after Cortland Sutton. He’s facing a struggling Jets pass defense this week, which is a good sign. Plus, with a strong cornerback matchup taking on the top opposing receiver, it might allow Franklin to see more action.

Rashid Shaheed, Saints vs. Patriots

Shaheed scored a long touchdown against the Giants last week, which is his specialty. He gets a favorable matchup this week at home against the Patriots, who have been allowing one of the worst completion rates on passes over 20 yards.
