Bijan Robinson offers guidance to Arch Manning as Texas QB faces increasing challenges

Bijan Robinson Offers Advice to Arch Manning

Bijan Robinson, a fellow University of Texas alum, recently shared his thoughts on providing support to young quarterbacks, particularly addressing Arch Manning’s current challenges during an appearance on the “Rich Eisen Show.” His core message? Ignore the media.

Robinson emphasized the importance of consistency, stating, “I want to continue to be consistent.” When Eisen inquired about Manning, Robinson asserted, “Be as consistent as possible. Don’t listen to the media, because they can either guide you positively or, well, potentially derail your career.” He reassured Manning that support exists, mentioning that Coach Steve Sarkisian and others are backing him.

On another platform, Robinson continued to express his thoughts about Manning during “The Zach Gelb Show,” urging people not to label the young quarterback a bust. “I think it’s unfair,” he remarked. “Kids are trying to improve, and that kind of pressure isn’t helpful.” He highlighted how Manning is dedicated to doing his best, both for himself and the team, and expressed his disdain for the term “bust,” especially when directed at Manning.

Manning has had a rocky start this season, with his latest performance in a 29-21 defeat to Florida showcasing two interceptions and a hefty six sacks. Despite the setbacks, Sarkisian mentioned in a post-game conference that Manning “fought really well,” praising his determination under pressure. “He took some hits,” Sarkisian added, “and I think Arch competed as hard as he could. He will, of course, want to analyze the film and strive to do better in the future.”
