Philadelphia Cream Cheese Expands Product Line for Holiday Baking

This fall, Philadelphia, the beloved cream cheese brand, is set to broaden its offerings to simplify holiday baking.

For 150 years, Kraft Heinz’s cream cheese has been a staple for everything from topping bagels to whipping up buffalo chicken dip, not to mention baking cheesecakes. Now, the brand aims to streamline this process even further.

During the holiday season, Philadelphia Cream Cheese sells over 50 million pounds for meal and dessert preparations.

The brand is introducing two new products: Philadelphia Frozen Cheesecake and Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting. These additions are designed to help fans access their favorite holiday flavors with minimal effort.

Philadelphia Frozen Cheesecake marks the brand’s debut in the frozen cheesecake market, available in Original and Strawberry Swirl flavors.

About 50 million slices of cheesecake are reportedly made with Philadelphia cream cheese each holiday season, and the brand invested three years in developing its cheesecake to achieve the ideal balance of taste and texture, while also ensuring convenience.

Each cheesecake is pre-sliced and contains Philadelphia cream cheese as the primary ingredient, with no artificial flavors or colors, all nestled in a golden graham cracker crust. The Strawberry Swirl version is topped with a hand-dripped strawberry sauce.

Cheesecake is a seasonal favorite, yet Philadelphia understands it’s enjoyed year-round, which is why they are making this frozen cheesecake a permanent addition to their lineup.

In addition, Philadelphia is rolling out a new flavor of refrigerated cream cheese frosting: Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting.

This cream cheese frosting has sold nearly a million units within its first year since launch, and now the company is expanding the flavor range. This cinnamon flavor kickstarts a line of seasonal cream cheese frostings expected to arrive in stores soon.

“Dessert is a daily ritual for many, yet not everyone has the time to prepare homemade classics like cheesecake and frosting from scratch each time,” Kelly Srivastava, senior brand manager at Philadelphia Cream Cheese, mentioned in a statement.

“After three years in development, our new frozen cheesecake provides a convenient way to serve seasonal favorites. Meanwhile, our cinnamon frosting offers a warm taste of nostalgia with its blend of cinnamon and brown sugar. These innovations make it simpler than ever to create memorable moments in Philadelphia.”
