Rising Star Cam Skatebo Gains Popularity Among Giants Fans
Cam Skatebo has quickly captured the hearts of Giants fans, particularly after his impressive performance against the Eagles on Thursday night. His popularity seems set to increase, with fans also taking notice of his girlfriend, Chloe Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, who played against the rookie at Arizona State University, was in attendance at MetLife Stadium as the Giants pulled off an unexpected 34-17 victory over the Eagles. She sported a distinctive vintage Giants jacket, adorned with jewels and featuring “Skattebo” embroidered above the team name.
Completing her look, Rodriguez wore a sleek bun, paired with black leggings, knee-high boots, and a red handbag. She shared her game-day outfit on Instagram Stories with the caption “TNF.”
Watching her boyfriend shine in what was arguably his biggest game, Rodriguez witnessed Skatebo make significant contributions, rushing for 98 yards and scoring three touchdowns, along with 12 receiving yards.
Fans have fully embraced Skatebo’s tenacity and exuberant personality, celebrating his “flip” touchdown celebration. He even made headlines by ripping his shirt on a postgame show with Ryan Fitzpatrick, solidifying his connection with the fan base after the Giants improved to a 2-4 record.
As of Week 6, Rodriguez has only shared one game-day post, commemorating the Giants’ first win against the Chargers in Week 4. On that sunny day, she wore red track pants and a white tank top, showcasing Skatebo’s number “44” on the front, accessorized with oversized black sunglasses and red and blue Nike Dunks.
In the caption, she encouraged him with “Flip it!” reinforcing her support.
Rodriguez has been a strong support system for Skatebo since he entered the NFL. After the Giants selected him in the fourth round, they shared a tender kiss during a draft party in Chandler, Arizona. She later posted about her appreciation for him on Instagram, writing, “I love supporting you, keep making us proud. Time to go back east, let’s go @nygiants.”
Looking ahead, the Giants will head to Denver in Week 7 for a matchup against the Broncos before facing the Eagles again the following week.
