All TGL teams had impressive schedule release announcements.

All TGL teams had impressive schedule release announcements.

With the announcement of the schedule, teams in TGL now have a chance to showcase their unique journeys toward claiming the team title.

There’s a surge of creativity surrounding TGL, particularly in shot-making during matches, and it’s definitely something to appreciate. So, let’s dive into the ranking of all six schedule release videos, from the best to the not-so-great.

1st Place – Atlanta Drive GC

The narrative often favors the winners, and right now, Atlanta is leading the way. Embracing the role of a champion allows for some intriguing flexibility.

Plus, I found it really neat to see San Andre Golf highlighted. It’s refreshing when a golf specialty store shines a light on golf personalities. Smart move, really.

2nd Place – Boston Common Golf

There’s just something about 90s nostalgia that hits different, and this video nails it with its tribute to Frogger and Atari.

When your team boasts a current Masters champion, you know you must level up your game. I truly enjoyed this video; it might have snagged the top spot otherwise.

3rd Place – Jupiter Links Golf Club

This one also leans heavily into that 90s vibe. It plays out like an infomercial, but with a twist of WWE flair.

The grainy effect and the classic “99th caller wins the ticket” line really resonate. It’s a nice callback; we all remember trying to time those calls just right.

4th Place – New York Golf Club

Having Keegan-Michael Key on board immediately elevates this video.

It’s a fun touch to see him introduced as the new partner of the club. New York earns some creativity points here since partnerships really spice up the TGL experience.

5th Place – Los Angeles Golf Club

This video kind of feels like it’s trying to out-cool everyone else.

With Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood showcasing their impressive performances from the European Ryder Cup, it was a clever move for LA to capitalize on that, even if it stings a bit for us Americans.

6th Place – The Bay Golf Club

Instead of a typical video, this announcement comes as a vivid, psychedelic poster.

Everything about it works—the colors, the fun fonts. Simple yet elegant. However, not having a video definitely puts them at a disadvantage. They’ll need to shine through in actual golf performance to make up for that.
