Jerry Turner Warns Ex-Girlfriend Ahead of Her Memoir Release

Jerry Turner, a star from “The Golden Bachelor,” has issued a cautionary note to his ex-girlfriend, Teresa Nist, as she prepares to release her memoir.

In an interview, Turner shared that his own book, titled “The Golden Years,” is set to come out in early November. This book will explore his relationship with Nist. He mentioned feeling comfortable sharing his narrative but hinted that Nist might feel quite the opposite.

“I’m not worried. I think she should be,” he remarked.

Turner Files for Divorce After Brief Marriage

Turner and Nist, who tied the knot in January 2024, separated just four months later, in April 2024.

During the interview, Turner openly discussed how he would address his role in the marriage’s breakdown. He reflected, “I was a little naive and I wasn’t a good listener. If I had been better in some of those areas, maybe there would have been a different ending.” Yet, despite recognizing his flaws, he expressed he wouldn’t change anything about his time with Nist.

“Overall, I’m glad everything happened the way it did, because it got me to where I am now,” he added, referring to his engagement with Lana Sutton.

Turner announced his engagement through a social media post, celebrating that he had found love again—a stark contrast to the challenges he faced after his last marriage.

He initially filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” shortly after announcing the separation publicly. He noted that they had meaningful discussions about their living arrangements and mutually agreed it was best to part ways.

By June 2024, the divorce was finalized.

Health Challenges Influence Relationship Decisions

In December 2024, Turner publicly revealed his diagnosis of bone marrow cancer, a significant factor in his marriage’s deterioration. He spoke candidly about the struggles he faced regarding his health and relationship with Nist.

He described how he felt heavy with the news, saying, “It felt like 10 tons of concrete fell on me.” As he began to process his diagnosis, he adopted a new outlook on life and decided to embrace opportunities without hesitation.

His relationship with Sutton has brought him renewed happiness, as he appreciates her supportive nature and similar way of thinking.

“It’s great to have a partner who understands you and supports you 100%,” Turner reflected. “I’m very happy with where I am now.”
