John Cena’s Final Match Approaches
John Cena’s wrestling career is on the brink of closure, with his last match scheduled for December 13 at Saturday Night Main Event in Washington, D.C.
The renowned 17-time world champion is counting down the days—just four remain—but fans are left pondering who will be his final opponent.
In an intriguing Instagram post, Cena shared a picture of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning shaking hands, leaving many to speculate about its meaning, though he offered no caption.
Immediately, fans began to wonder if this hinted at his last opponent, with a significant number believing it could be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Both Johnson and Cena, alongside Brady and Manning, are often seen as legends in their respective arenas.
Interestingly, Johnson hasn’t been involved in WWE since Cena turned heel back in February for a storyline with The Rock. However, Cena has since reverted to a more favorable character ahead of SummerSlam.
Some fans speculated that the image might actually be a nod to Edge, a fierce rival from Cena’s illustrious career, while others thought it could relate to his recent match with AJ Styles in Australia, where they paid tribute to wrestling legends with signature moves.
During a conversation with Travis and Jason Kelce on “New Heights,” The Rock hinted at his influence regarding Cena’s final opponent but emphasized that the decision ultimately lies with Cena himself.
Throughout this year, Cena has revisited his roots on his farewell tour, facing off against notable names like Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar.
Looking ahead, Cena is set to appear on “Monday Night Raw” in Boston, close to his hometown, on November 10 and again on November 17. His journey will culminate at “Survivor Series” in San Diego on November 29, wrapping up what has been an iconic chapter in wrestling history.
