Investigation into Death of Teen Found in D4vd’s Tesla
The former landlord of rapper D4vd, based in Hollywood Hills, has employed a private investigator to look into the death of a 15-year-old girl. She was discovered mutilated inside a Tesla that was seized last month.
Mladen Trifunovic, the property owner, initiated the investigation after law enforcement searched the mansion where D4vd was renting for $20,000 a month. This raid was part of the police inquiry into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The rapper’s Tesla was left abandoned near Rivas’ home before it was taken to a confiscated site, where the body of the missing teenager was found concealed in the trunk.
As of now, no suspect has been identified in Rivas’ death, even though six weeks have passed since her remains were discovered in a deteriorated condition on September 8.
Trifunovic mentioned, “The work of our private investigators is still ongoing. We do not have any findings to share at this moment. We’re still in the early stages and want to honor both the LAPD investigation and the memory of the victim.”
After the police search on September 17, movers were spotted collecting D4vd’s belongings from the property. Reports indicate that he soon ended his lease on the $4 million mansion following the police inquiries.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has faced a lot of speculation online since the body’s discovery in his vehicle.
Rivas’ mother previously shared that her daughter, who went missing at 13 in 2024, was involved with someone named David. Additionally, internet users have found past footage of the rapper discussing an inappropriate relationship with a girl, believed to be Celeste, along with an unsettling unreleased song titled “Celeste.”
The 20-year-old musician, originally from Queens and now based in Los Angeles, has canceled his upcoming tour tied to his album, Wizard. Recently, he transferred the deed of one of his Texas properties to his mother amid a swatting incident.
Rivas was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary in Rowland Heights, which is located approximately 80 miles from her family home in Lake Elsinore.
No charges have been filed in connection with this case thus far.
