NFL Season Week 6 Recap and Week 7 Preview

Week 6 of the NFL season has wrapped up, and as we head into Week 7, it’s worth taking a moment to reflect on the top tight ends in PPR scoring so far. Surprising no one, Jake Ferguson stands out as the leader. He’s shown impressive form lately, especially in his recent matchups where he’s scored four touchdowns over the last three games, even outperforming CeeDee Lamb.

Meanwhile, George Kittle and Brock Bowers have been sidelined, but rookie Tyler Warren and Dallas Goedert, who leads in tight end touchdowns, have stepped up. Trey McBride continues to impress as well. Darren Waller seems to have found his groove after a brief timeout from the spotlight, now sitting third in fantasy points for tight ends, while veteran Travis Kelce remains a solid fantasy option.

Bowers has been dealing with a knee issue, missing games recently. There are hopes he’ll be nearly back to full strength before his return. If he plays, starting him might still come with risks, given his recent performance wouldn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Njoku had a knee injury during last week’s game against the Steelers. He attempted to play through it but ultimately couldn’t finish the game. The severity of his injury isn’t clear yet, though his effort to play might suggest it’s not too severe. Even if he can’t take on Miami this week, Harold Fannin might find himself in a favorable situation.
