Sharon Osbourne Shares Grief Over Dog Elvis’ Passing
Sharon Osbourne is mourning the loss of her cherished dog, Elvis. The former talk show host made the announcement about her pet’s death in an emotional Instagram post shared with her extensive follower base on Sunday.
At 73, Sharon reached out to her followers for support just a few months before her husband, the rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, passed away.
In her heartfelt tribute, Sharon reflected on the impact Elvis had on her life: “I can’t believe I’m posting this but my beloved Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious years. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace, my beloved son!”
The photo was one of several shared to honor Elvis’s memory. It’s clear that this loss deeply affects her.
Just recently, after Ozzy’s passing, Sharon explained she’s still finding her way in the wake of his death but felt motivated to share snippets of her life, including interactions with her daughter, Kelly. Interestingly, Sharon has picked up falconry as a hobby – a pretty unique choice, I’d say.
She described the experience with these magnificent birds: “It’s a bond I know well and the experience was nothing short of magical.” Those connections rely heavily on trust. It’s fascinating how animals can have such profound effects on our lives, isn’t it?
Sharon expressed her gratitude, saying, “I love you all and am deeply grateful for the out-of-this-world love you continue to send me.” It’s sweet to see how she’s trying to connect during this tough time, despite everything she has faced.
