Victoria Beckham Discusses Family Dynamics Amid Ongoing Disputes

Victoria Beckham has shared her thoughts on her “close family,” despite ongoing tensions with her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.

During an appearance on Alex Cooper’s podcast, “Call Her Daddy,” on Wednesday, Victoria reflected on the challenges of allowing children to make their own choices as they grow up.

She emphasized the importance of communication within her family, stating, “We’re a very close family and communication is important. We always let them know that this is a safe forum for whatever they want to talk about.” However, she acknowledged that children aged 14 to 26 need the space to explore their own paths.

Victoria remarked on the term “nepobabies,” which is often used to describe kids of famous parents. She urged parents to give their children the chance to thrive, saying, “All of our kids are really, really good people, sweet, kind, human beings. Being kind is so important.” Her words carried a sense of cautious optimism about parenting.

In discussing family matters, she mentioned how she and husband David have always promoted open conversations with their children. “I’m excited for them,” she added. “They’re all very different and they all like to do different things.” In a previous interview, she had mentioned feeling that they are a fun-loving and traditional family.

Victoria also voiced a commitment to being a good mother and wife, noting the importance of work in shaping her identity. “It’s healthy for my kids to know that daddy goes to work and mommy goes to work,” she explained.

Rumors of a rift resurfaced recently when Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend David’s 50th birthday celebration. Reports indicated that Brooklyn had been unresponsive to family attempts to reach out.

Since then, the couple has skipped numerous family events and milestones, including Victoria’s Fashion Week show and significant personal occasions like their own vow renewal. Brooklyn, while finally addressing the buzz surrounding the family tensions, expressed, “There’s always going to be people who say negative things, but I have a very supportive wife.” He remarked that they aim to focus on their work and happiness.
