Prince Harry Reacts to Taylor Swift and Charli XCX Feud Rumors

Prince Harry appeared visibly taken aback when asked about the rumored conflict between Taylor Swift and Charli XCX during an episode of the podcast “Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know.”

“This is serious stuff, Harry. What do you think about this beef?” Minhaj prompted Harry, who laughed slightly and replied, “What? No, it’s not.”

Minhaj continued, explaining that Charli’s diss track—”Sympathy is a Knife”—had stirred the pot, claiming that Taylor’s response with “Actually Romantic” escalated the situation further. While Minhaj detailed the unfolding drama, Harry seemed confused, glancing off-camera and raising his eyebrows at the conversation.

Minhaj then pondered whether Charli had made the first move, prompting Taylor’s reaction. “Sometimes I think—where do we go from here?” he said.

Harry chuckled and simply agreed.

The podcast episode aired the day after Meghan Markle shared a video dancing to Swift’s song “Opalite,” promoting her lifestyle brand. Last year, Prince William had taken the kids to see Swift’s concert at Wembley, further intertwining the royal family with the pop star’s life.

Fans have speculated that Swift’s new song “Actually Romantic” could be overshadowing Charli. In the track, Swift mentions “Coke gives me courage” in what some assume refers to Charli’s past discussions about drug use.

Even more, Charli previously opened for Swift during her Reputation tour, and she’s faced accusations of criticizing Taylor in her own songs, like “Sympathy Is a Knife.” As of now, neither artist has publicly addressed these feud rumors.

In a track-by-track version on Amazon Music, Swift discussed the insight behind “Actually Romantic,” mentioning how it explores the nuances of a one-sided, hostile relationship that one party remains blissfully unaware of.

“It’s pretty romantic when you really think about it,” she concluded, emphasizing the deep complexities of such feelings.
