Prince Andrew welcomed Epstein and Maxwell at Royal Lodge, according to reports.

Prince Andrew, who has recently renounced his royal title, has come under scrutiny for hosting Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at the Royal Lodge, his residence on Windsor Castle grounds. This information, as reported by several sources, raises eyebrows given the scandal surrounding his relationship with Epstein and the ongoing allegations of sexual abuse.

The Royal Lodge is where Andrew has lived but he’s facing increasing pressure to vacate due to past associations. Reports previously indicated that both Epstein and Maxwell were present at a masquerade ball for Andrew’s daughter’s 18th birthday.

According to a recent BBC article, the couple also attended a private gathering at the lodge shortly before the party. This gathering took place just months after a warrant was issued for Epstein’s arrest and merely days before he was apprehended.

When asked why he invited Epstein and Maxwell, Andrew claimed he was unaware of the arrest warrant, asserting that the media hadn’t covered it and that Epstein had never mentioned it. He also admitted to having flown on Epstein’s private plane and stayed at his mansion.

In light of Virginia Giuffre’s recently published memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” Andrew faces renewed criticisms. Giuffre alleges that she was trafficked to him by Epstein and sexually abused multiple times before turning 18. Tragically, she died by suicide in April.

Andrew’s recent decision to renounce his title of Duke of York was made in consultation with King Charles. Reports suggest that Prince William has encouraged this tougher stance against Andrew, especially given the seriousness of the allegations.

Additionally, pressure has built for Andrew to vacate the Royal Lodge, where he invested roughly $9.9 million under a 75-year lease, while only paying a nominal rent of a peppercorn each year.

King Charles has yet to comment publicly on the calls for Andrew’s removal from the royal residence, which indicates ongoing tensions within the royal family regarding this issue.
