Russell Wilson Celebrates Ciara’s Birthday with a Surprise Party

In 2016, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tied the knot with music star Ciara. Recently, in March, he signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants. However, last Sunday, the Giants faced a loss against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This past Tuesday, a social media video emerged featuring Wilson, sidelined wide receiver Malik Nabors, quarterback Jameis Winston, and other Giants players dancing at a lavish party held over the weekend.

The occasion was a surprise celebration organized by Wilson for Ciara, who turned 40 on October 25th.

Giants pass rusher Brian Burns and Winston were seen in one of the many photos shared by Ciara on her Instagram. She expressed her gratitude in a heartfelt post, saying, “Baby, thank you for always making me feel great and throwing me the best surprise birthday party! You make every moment feel special and important for me! I love you so much @DangeRussWilson.”

Wilson reacted to the video of him dancing alongside his teammates, saying, “Had a great time with my lifelong homies! Congratulations to Jameis, BBurns, and the one and only Leake! @Ciara🎂,” in a tweet on X.

Prior to the birthday party, Wilson had already celebrated Ciara’s day on social media, sharing several photos of their family. His caption read, “Be with me forever!!! ❤️🙏🏾 Happy birthday to my world, @ciara.”

He added, “God had a purpose that brought us together. It’s a force for something greater. Seeing you shine as an amazing wife, mother, artist, and entrepreneur inspires me every day. I’m continually amazed by the family we are building and the woman you are. I will always thank God for you.”

In response to Wilson’s affectionate words, Ciara commented, “Awesome baby! You always make me feel on top of the world! Thank you for making this day feel special! I love you so much!”

The couple has four children together.

On the field, the Giants are undergoing a rebuild after losing rookie running back Cam Skatebo to a season-ending ankle injury from the loss against the Eagles.

Wilson was originally traded to the Denver Broncos in March 2022. His time in Denver had its ups and downs, followed by a stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2024 season before joining the Giants, where he was demoted to a backup role after just three games.

Looking ahead, rookie Jackson Dart is set to start when the Giants take on the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Currently, the team is on a two-game losing streak as they head into Week 9 of the NFL season.
