Berkshire Money Management to Open New Office in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Berkshire Money Management (BMM) is set to open a new office at 136 Water Street in Williamstown later this year, aiming to better serve clients in the northern Berkshires and southern Vermont.

Allen Harris, the founder and CEO, noted that this new office underscores the company’s dedication to being close to its clientele.

“BMM has always strived to meet people where they are. What challenges are their families facing? Can we help them achieve their goals?” Harris shared, emphasizing the importance of being present within the communities they serve.

This step enhances BMM’s presence across Berkshire County, in addition to their existing offices in Dalton and Great Barrington.

The company plans to start meeting clients in Williamstown by appointment later this year, with a grand opening slated for early 2026.

“I view this more as a commitment than an expansion,” Harris remarked. “We are committed to serving all of Berkshire County, from Sheffield to Clarksburg, and our physical footprint will now reflect that.”

The new office will feature financial advisor Brendan Barrett, who joined BMM this past fall. Barrett hails from North Adams and brings nearly 20 years of experience working with local organizations, including Williams College and Berkshire Health Systems. He’ll be accompanied by a full-time office support specialist.

The office is conveniently located near Spring Street and the Williams College campus, and it’s owned by BMM co-founder and chief engagement officer Stacey Carver. She purchased the property earlier this year and mentioned that while they’re making some updates, like new flooring and furniture, they’re almost ready for business. “We’re excited to be a part of Williamstown’s daily life,” Carver said.

BMM is linked to the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce and actively looks for opportunities to support local initiatives through community partnerships. Local organizations interested in sponsorship can reach out for more details.

“We may not be officially open yet, but we’re very happy to be here,” Carver added. “If you see us on Water Street or around town, please say hello.”

Founded in 2001, Berkshire Money Management assists clients with various financial needs, including retirement planning, business transitions, and investment management, all under a fee-only model.
