Welch and Vieter Criticize Right-Wing Figures on Podcast
On their podcast “I’ve Had It,” former Bravo star Jennifer Welch and Tommy Vieter, host of “Pod Save America,” expressed frustration over being targeted by Republicans. Vieter remarked, “It was tough being beaten by the biggest losers on the planet,” citing various conservative figures including Stephen Miller and Donald Trump. He emphasized his disdain, saying, “I’m tired of losers beating us up, and that drives me crazy.”
Welch echoed this sentiment, stating, “We can’t lose our democracy to these motherfuckers,” even going so far as to label Miller a “Nazi Jew” earlier this month.
She continued her criticism by zeroing in on J.D. Vance, calling him a “failed drag queen” and suggesting that his time at Peter Thiel’s camp had left him damaged. Welch noted a troubling trend among some far-right individuals, positing that they adopt extreme Christian views to mask hidden lifestyles they’re ashamed of.
She quipped, “I have a perfect theory…that there is a group of DL Demon Queens in the MAGA movement,” implying that the anger from these individuals stems from their inability to embrace their true selves. Her comments also included reflections about figures like Mike Johnson, whom she described in colorful terms, linking them to broader issues of repression.
Vieter agreed, acknowledging the pattern of people repressing parts of themselves leading them to act out harmfully. “What you say about oppressed people is so true,” he remarked.
Despite reaching out for comments, no responses were received from figures like Thiel, Vance, or Johnson.
Welch has gained increasing recognition on liberal platforms, making frequent appearances on channels like CNN and MSNBC and hosting prominent Democratic leaders.
