Halloween Throwbacks from Katherine Schwarzenegger

Katherine Schwarzenegger recently shared a delightful collection of family photos on Instagram, reminiscing about her childhood in celebration of Halloween. The snapshots included images of her alongside her siblings and their parents, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In one of the nostalgic images, Katherine is dressed as a witch, while her brother Christina portrays Catwoman, Patrick is in a Batman costume, and baby Christopher is seen as Robin. Maria, looking fabulous, donned a Cruella de Vil outfit, and Arnold opted for a more relaxed look in jeans and a black half-zip pullover.

She captioned the post, saying, “Getting into the spooky atmosphere. Pumpkin patches, sticker jeans, and kids taking Halloween seriously. The countdown to candy begins… now.” Another throwback depicted her mom dressed as the Evil Queen, with Katherine previously seen as a fairy and her brother as Barney.

Schwarzenegger’s late grandmother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, also made an appearance in the cherished family photos.

In a more recent photo, Katherine smiled while wearing jeans and a blouse adorned with Halloween stickers. She shared that she enjoyed a day at a pumpkin patch with her daughters, Lyla and Eloise, as well as her brother Christopher.

Katherine, married to actor Chris Pratt, also noted that they have a son named Ford, with Lyla born in August 2020 and Eloise in May 2022. She reflected on how parenting changes rapidly, stating, “It’s incredible that something new happens every day, and it’s a beautiful experience. No two days are the same.”

Her daughters take their roles as older sisters seriously, with Katherine mentioning, “Eloise is my bath time helper and Lila is the one who always holds him.” It reminded her of her own close-knit family experiences growing up.

Looking back, Katherine expressed her gratitude for her relationship with her siblings, saying, “It is my greatest blessing to have such a close relationship with my sister and two brothers.” She fondly recalled the fun times spent with Patrick and Christopher as kids.

As for her writing, Katherine is gearing up for the release of her third children’s book, “Cat and Brandy,” on November 4, complementing her previous works, which include “Good Night, Sister” and “Maverick and Me.” She has also penned several nonfiction books.
