Kardashian Questions Moon Landing
Kim Kardashian recently expressed skepticism about the moon landing during an episode of “The Kardashians.” She attempted to convince Sarah Paulson that the event, which took place in 1969, never really happened.
Apollo 11 marked a pivotal moment in the space race, with Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins making history as the first humans to set foot on the moon. To date, only 12 people, all American, have walked on the lunar surface.
Throughout the episode, Kardashian references articles about Aldrin and Armstrong, hinting at some conspiracy theories. “This girl asks, ‘What was your scariest moment?’ and Aldrin says, ‘There wasn’t a scary moment, because it didn’t happen.’ So it may seem scary, but I just think it didn’t happen,” she stated.
She went on to claim that older astronauts might misremember their experience. “So, yeah, I don’t think it happened,” she concluded.
Paulson, who has starred with Kardashian, mentioned that Kardashian’s views made her reconsider the entire moon landing narrative, describing it as a “massive dive.” Kardashian apparently keeps sending her intriguing thoughts on the subject.
“I don’t think we did that. I think it was fake.”

Kardashian cited interviews where Aldrin purportedly questions the moon landing’s validity. “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon. Why does the flag wave? Why aren’t there any stars in the photos?” she pondered, pushing her point further.
The situation caught NASA’s attention, prompting Acting Administrator Sean Duffy to reach out on social media. He reassured Kardashian, saying, “Yes, Kim, we’ve been to the moon before… six times!” He also emphasized that America is, again, focusing on space exploration under the Artemis program.
Kardashian humorously responded to Duffy’s comments, expressing curiosity regarding his hashtags. During the show, when asked about potential backlash for her views, she remarked somberly, “People will think I’m crazy regardless, but check out TikTok if you want.” She seemed unfazed by any criticism that might come her way.
