Celebration for the Dodgers
Meghan Markle was all smiles as she celebrated the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2025 World Series Championship with her husband, Prince Harry. In a joyful moment, she gave him a deep kiss on the lips.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were captured reacting to the Dodgers’ thrilling Game 7 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in a video shared on Markle’s Instagram Story during the weekend.
Harry seemed relaxed in a private setting, sitting back in a reclining chair while cheering could be heard from Markle off-screen.
Suddenly, Markle appeared, jumping excitedly toward Harry, who remained in his seat. After wrapping her arms around him, she kissed him enthusiastically and exclaimed, “Oh my god!” before lifting her arms in delight.
Following the Dodgers’ win, Markle was seen jumping up and down in excitement, hugging her friend, which brought a smile to Harry’s face.
Markle, 44, looked comfortable in a black lounge outfit, while Harry, 41, opted for a collared shirt and pants, casually munching on popcorn.
The couple had chosen to celebrate with a private screening, potentially to avoid criticism they faced earlier in the week for their public date night during Game 4 of the World Series.
Earlier in the week, they attended Game 4 at Dodger Stadium, where they were spotted in the front row, wearing matching blue hats.
During the MLB game, Markle and Harry seemed to enjoy themselves, sharing laughs and even standing up to clap. However, they faced some backlash for having seats that appeared to be better than those of some sports legends present that day.
Some fans took issue with them sitting in front of former Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax and Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who has a stake in the Dodgers.
Despite this, the former athletes seemed unfazed by the seating arrangements and even appeared to chat amicably with Koufax. Markle and Harry also posed for a photo with Magic and his wife, Cookie Johnson.
Not everyone was welcoming, though—some stadium attendees booed them when they were shown on the jumbotron.
On Saturday night, the Dodgers clinched their championship title with a nail-biting 5-4 victory over the Blue Jays, completing an exhilarating 11-inning game.
