Welcome to Week 10 Exemption Wire Watch!
As the weekend NFL games draw near, we’re officially halfway through the 2025 regular season. It’s been a wild ride, and there are plenty of lesser-known wide receivers who are proving they can shine. This weekend showcased some of their potential once again.
Here, we’ll highlight a few players you might want to consider picking up from the waiver wire ahead of Week 10. Just a quick note: we consider exempt additions to be players in up to 60% of leagues.
Week 10 Bye Teams
Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans
Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts (16.7%)
The Colts faced a tough match, losing 27-20 to the Steelers. However, there was some bright news: Pierce had a standout performance with a season-high catch tally of 115 yards on six targets. It looks like he’s becoming more than just an occasional big play threat, averaging 94 yards per game over the last three weeks.
Before Week 9, Pierce was ranked second in average depth of target among receivers with over 100 routes run this season. His combination of explosive capability and increased target share might just elevate him in the fantasy ranks. Keep an eye on him.
Week 10 Matchups
vs. Atlanta Falcons, 9:30 a.m. ET (Berlin game)
Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers (55.8%)
The Packers suffered a surprising 16-13 loss to the Panthers in Week 9, shifting the NFC North race. Doubs contributed nicely, catching 7 out of 10 targets for 91 yards. He has been a reliable target for Jordan Love this season, and with tight end Tucker Craft likely out, his role will be even more crucial.
Interestingly, Doubs is still on the waiver wire in many leagues, despite being a top-30 wide receiver. This could be your last chance to grab him.
Week 10 Matchups
vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 8:15 p.m. ET (Monday night)
Torrie Horton, WR, Seattle Seahawks (8.7%)
With Cooper Kupp sidelined, Horton stepped up admirably in the Seahawks’ game against the Commanders. The rookie secured four catches for 48 yards and managed to score two touchdowns in a 38-14 victory. Impressively, he leads the team in receiving touchdowns.
Horton, drafted in the fifth round from the Mountain West Conference, has shown he can contribute on both offense and special teams. If you’re looking for receiver options this week, he might be worth a look.
Week 10 Matchups
vs. Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. ET
Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (8.1%)
The Jaguars are facing some challenges at the receiver position after Travis Hunter’s knee injury. Washington stepped up and led the team with eight receptions for 90 yards in their narrow 30-29 overtime victory against the Raiders. It’s worth noting this is the second game in a row he’s been targeted at least nine times, consistently scoring double digits in PPR leagues.
He could certainly become a key player for Trevor Lawrence as the Jaguars aim for a spot in the AFC playoffs. Keep him in mind as you navigate the waiver wire this week.
