Week 9 Football Insights
This week, there’s been plenty of chatter about Week 9, particularly with Caleb Williams and Joe Flacco making headlines due to Chicago’s impressive scoring. Flacco, who’s really turned it up in the last three games, is coming off a bye week and looks to keep that momentum as he faces the Steelers in Week 11. Meanwhile, Williams needs to mimic the Bengals’ defensive strategy to excel. We’re all curious to see if he can keep the fantasy points coming against the Giants, who, well, have had a shaky defense.

Jaden Daniels Update
In unfortunate news, Daniels hurt his throwing arm during Week 10 against the Seahawks and will be out for a while. There’s currently no clear timeline for his return, but it looks like Marcus Mariota will be taking the reins for now.
On another note, Stroud is recovering from a concussion he sustained in Week 9 while playing the Broncos. He’ll need to clear concussion protocol to participate against the Jaguars in Week 10. If he can’t go, we can expect Davis Mills to step in. Mills did reasonably well when he filled in for Stroud, showing he could hold his own.
Murray has also had his share of issues, missing the last two games due to a midfoot sprain. He sat out during Week 8 for recovery but didn’t play against the Cowboys in Week 9. Interestingly, Jacoby Brissett stepped up and performed quite well in that game. Coach Jonathan Gannon has stated that Murray is the starter when healthy, but does that really align with the current winning strategy?
Purdy has been sidelined with a toe injury since Week 4 against the Jaguars, missing five games. While it seems unlikely he will participate in Week 9, there’s hope he could return for an important matchup against the Rams in the district game.
