2025 Patriot Awards Ceremony Highlights
Jason and Brittany Aldean took center stage as headliners for the 2025 Patriot Awards, hosted by FOX Nation, on November 6th at the Till’s Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York.
During the event, Erica Kirk received the first-ever Charlie Kirk Legacy Award, presented by the Aldeans. Jesse Watters from FOX News also honored Erica with an award.
After presenting the award, Jason performed one of his popular songs and shared some heartfelt words about Charlie Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA. “Charlie was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed. The division and violence in our country have become distressingly common,” he stated. Interestingly, he noted that while Charlie might not have been a country music enthusiast—reportedly preferring hip-hop—he believed Charlie understood the sentiments behind his next song.
Jason performed “Try That in a Small Town” and planned to showcase another track from his new album, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go,” later in the evening.
Before the night unfolded, Brittany documented their day on social media, sharing a mirror selfie in a chic all-black leather outfit. She indicated they were in New York City for the Patriot Awards, carrying a water bottle and sporting sunglasses on her head.
In another fun moment, Brittany shared a breakfast photo with a playful caption reading, “Wine or juice morning,” featuring a glass of wine alongside green juice.
The Aldeans have vocally expressed their grief over the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10th.
Weeks following his death, the Aldeans shared a heartfelt joint Instagram post that featured a moving black-and-white video of a Luke Bryan song about profound loss.
During a concert in Detroit shortly after Charlie’s passing, Jason took a moment to pay tribute, recalling their personal connections and the significant influence Kirk had on his life and career. He described Kirk as “one of the greatest of all time,” emphasizing the strangeness of a society that targets individuals for their beliefs.
Brittany reflected on Charlie’s funeral, expressing how it surpassed her expectations with its faith-centered ambiance. She described feeling the impact of Charlie’s legacy—how it catalyzed a sense of revival among those affected by his life and work. It was an emotional day for her; emotions were high, but an overwhelming sense of positivity was also present.
In a heartfelt message to her followers, Brittany noted how people encouraged her to “live like Charlie,” something she strives for daily. Reflecting on the emotional turmoil, she captured the essence of the service, acknowledging Charlie’s significant impact on countless lives.
