Sadie Sink dons a shiny white Prada bra and skirt at the season 5 premiere of 'Stranger Things' in LA

At the Stranger Things premiere last night at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, the ambiance may have hinted at an eerie “Upside Down,” but Sadie Sink’s red carpet look was anything but unsettling.

The 23-year-old star captivated attendees in a custom two-piece by Prada, a creation from her longtime stylist, Molly Dixon. Since becoming the brand ambassador for Prada in 2023, Sink has been embraced by the fashion world.

Her striking outfit showcased a luxurious ivory satin bralette paired with a flowing floor-length skirt, both adorned with shimmering silver crystals that provided an ethereal glow amidst the darker ensembles of the cast.

Sink’s long auburn hair fell elegantly, parted down the middle, complemented by bold eyebrows and a soft pink hue on her cheeks.

This marks her fourth season as part of the Stranger Things cast, having joined in season 2, which debuted on Netflix back in October 2017, as Max Mayfield.

It’s a bit nostalgic to see how much she and her Hawkins High classmates have matured over the years.

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Jane Hopper, recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. Meanwhile, Finn Wolfhard, known for his role as Mike Wheeler, has transitioned into a music career and is set to appear in the Ghostbusters sequel, following the success of the show that first premiered in the summer of 2016.

Season 5 holds a bittersweet significance as it will be the conclusion of the beloved sci-fi series. The first volume is set to stream on Netflix starting November 26, 2025, with the second volume on Christmas Day and the final episode dropping on New Year’s Eve.

In the meantime, Sink has been expanding her repertoire with more serious roles. She starred in The Whale, the film that garnered Brendan Fraser an Oscar for Best Actor in 2022, and this past summer, she spent three months on Broadway as the lead in John Proctor is the Villain. Her portrayal in this revisionist take on Arthur Miller’s The Crucible earned her a Tony nomination for Best Actress, though she ultimately lost to Sarah Snook, who won for The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Back in 2012, Sink began her journey on Broadway, initially stepping in as an understudy for the title role in Annie before eventually taking over. Having returned to Broadway after moving from her early acting days to the role of a young woman at Hawkins High, it’s clear that Sink has an exciting and stylish career ahead of her.
