Kim Kardashian criticized for 'unrealistic' clothing in 'All's Fair'

Kim Kardashian is encountering criticism for her unexpected fashion choices while portraying Alura Grant in the new Hulu series that hasn’t quite hit the mark with audiences.

After the premiere of “All’s Fair” on November 4, she showcased some of her looks from the initial episodes in a TikTok video.

Kardashian described her wardrobe as “a character in itself,” featuring standout pieces like a Jean Paul Gaultier outfit, which included a blue collared shirt, a dark vest, and a burgundy tie.

This particular ensemble, which she claimed was “one of my favorites,” featured a pinstripe skirt with red laces at the back, giving it a somewhat risqué appearance.

However, many viewers were not impressed and took to social media to criticize her “unrealistic” fashion choices.

One comment read, “She might’ve looked sexy without the visible thong, but hey, that’s okay.” Another added, “She’ll never win the case—her professionalism is lacking.”

A different user remarked, “It seems she takes everything for granted and never takes her work seriously.”

Conversely, some fans defended Kardashian’s bold choices, commenting on her TikTok video, “This stylist really made an impact. It’s so Kim.” Another added, “Please keep this up—I love your style!”

“I’m obsessed with this look!” another fan chimed in, expressing interest in her wardrobe.

The first three episodes of “All’s Fair,” created by Ryan Murphy, follow a group of female divorce attorneys starting an all-female law firm. The cast also features notable names like Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson.

Despite its star-studded cast, the series has received a harsh reception from critics, currently holding a mere 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Lucy Mangan commented on its poor execution, while Kelly Lawler referred to it as “the worst TV show of the year.” The show has been described as a “train wreck” that even the cast couldn’t salvage.

Amidst the bad reviews, Kardashian took to Instagram, sharing a post that sarcastically asked, “Did you watch the most critically acclaimed show of the year?” along with screenshots of mixed reviews.

Glenn Close also reacted to the criticism with a playful Instagram post referencing the 1978 film “Fatal Attraction,” showcasing images connected to her character’s memorable moments.

In defense of the show, director Anthony Hemingway commented that while criticism is part of the landscape, many others loved what they created.
