Emma Heming Spotted with Daughters in Santa Monica
Emma Heming was seen running errands with her daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, over the weekend in Santa Monica, California. The 47-year-old model and actress enjoyed a casual day out with her 13-year-old and 11-year-old girls on Sunday.
Dressing down, Heming wore a white T-shirt, loose blue jeans, and red Converse sneakers, accessorizing with a periwinkle sweater draped around her shoulders. She opted for a no-makeup look and shielded her face with sunglasses, letting her long brown hair fall freely.
Mabel chose a gray graphic T-shirt paired with blue jeans and sneakers, while Evelyn wore a black tank top, an orange striped sweater, and olive green cargo pants, completing her outfit with Crocs. The sisters were a few steps behind their mother, smiling and chatting, clearly enjoying their time together.
This outing comes amid a challenging period for their family. In March 2022, Bruce Willis, Emma’s husband, announced he would retire from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. Later, in February of the following year, they revealed he has frontotemporal dementia. In August, Emma shared the tough decision of moving him to a different home, stressing that his condition necessitates around-the-clock care in a tranquil and secure environment.
Heming has faced criticism for referring to herself as his caregiver, responding that those who haven’t lived through such experiences shouldn’t judge her. Nevertheless, she explained recently that the new living situation has positively impacted the family, allowing her daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, to rediscover their joyful childhood selves.
While the couple may live separately now, Heming emphasizes that they remain deeply connected. Bruce often spends his days with his family, and the girls still keep clothes, toys, and crafts at his nearby home.
