Erica Kirk Attends Swearing-In Ceremony for New U.S. Ambassador to India
Erica Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, was present at the swearing-in of Sergio Go as President Donald Trump’s new ambassador to India. The event took place in the Oval Office on Monday, and during the ceremony, President Trump invited her to speak.
“Charlie loved you,” Erica remarked to Go, emphasizing her late husband’s friendship with him. She added, “He would have been my first call when I found out you were taking this position.” Go was appointed U.S. ambassador to India in October.
Erica expressed her pride in both Go and Charlie’s past collaborations in supporting the President: “It has been truly humbling to see you both working together over the years. I pray for you every day because I know this is just the beginning of a great opportunity for you.”
It’s worth noting that Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative figure, was tragically killed in September during an event at Utah Valley University.
Sergio Go, co-founder of Winning Team Publishing, has been involved in publishing several bestselling books, including those by Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump Jr.
After being sworn in by Vice President J.D. Vance, Go expressed gratitude to Trump, stating, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime honor. What you accomplished in 10 months is historic.” He went on to share his confidence in the President’s future achievements, saying, “I have full faith that what you will achieve in the next three years will be unbeatable.”
