Week 11 Waiver Wire Watch
Hello and welcome to Week 11 of Waiver Wire Watch!
The NFL weekend has been action-packed, marking the official start of the second half of the 2025 regular season. Some waiver wire running backs turned in standout performances, and these players might just be essential picks for the remainder of the season.
Let’s take a look at a few players you might want to grab off the waiver wire as Week 11 approaches. As always, those who are categorized as exempt are players involved in up to 60% of the league.
Week 11 Bye Teams
Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints
Tyler Allgaier, RB, Atlanta Falcons (32.9%)
The Falcons came up short in Germany, losing 31-25 in overtime, putting their season record at 3-6, which doesn’t bode well for their playoff hopes. However, Allgaier gave a commendable effort, rushing for 57 yards and scoring two touchdowns on 11 carries. This fourth-year player leads the team with six rushing touchdowns this season, positioning him as a valuable handcuff option behind Bijan Robinson.
If you’re in need of a running back, Allgaier could be a solid choice. Given Atlanta’s current struggles, it seems likely he’ll see plenty of action this Sunday.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m. ET
Emari DeMercado, RB, Arizona Cardinals (31.1%)
DeMercado has been stepping up as a key player in the Cardinals’ backfield recently. In the team’s 44-22 defeat to the Seahawks, he shone as one of the few bright spots, rushing for 64 yards on just four carries and adding 40 receiving yards on three catches. It’s this kind of performance that makes him exciting to consider moving forward.
After facing challenges earlier, including a fumble against the Titans, he’s managed to redeem himself. I think his role in the offense will continue to grow as the Cardinals fight to stay alive in the NFC playoff race.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. San Francisco 49ers, 4:05 p.m. ET
Brian Robinson Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers (44%)
Robinson is finally gaining traction in the Niners’ offense, having rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown during a 42-26 loss to the Rams. This marks his second consecutive week scoring, and he’s starting to carve out a significant role in the offensive lineup after being underutilized earlier this season.
The 49ers might want to be cautious with Christian McCaffrey as the season progresses, which could mean more opportunities for Robinson. He’s definitely one to consider if you’re looking for a reliable handcuff.
Week 11 Matchup
@Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. ET
Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Washington Commanders (7.5%)
Rodriguez is beginning to earn more trust from the coaching staff, scoring a 1-yard touchdown in the team’s 44-22 loss to the Lions. This follows a strong 65-yard performance with a touchdown against the Seahawks the week prior. As Washington continues to navigate what’s been a challenging year, he’s one to keep an eye on for those in need of running back depth.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. Miami Dolphins, 9:30 a.m. ET (in Madrid)
