Welcome to Week 11 of Waiver Wire Watch!
The NFL weekend is wrapping up, and we’re officially deep into the second half of the 2025 regular season. It’s an interesting time, as there are several lesser-known wide receivers who can really shine on any given week. This past weekend showcased a number of them.
Let’s dive into some players you might want to pick up off the waiver wire before Week 11 rolls around. As a note, we consider exempt additions to be those players owned in up to 60% of leagues.
Week 11 Bye Teams
Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints
Mack Hollins, WR, New England Patriots (1.1%)
The Patriots pulled off a solid win against the Buccaneers, taking the game 28-23 and marking their seventh consecutive victory. Hollins had a stellar day, catching 6 out of 10 targets for 106 yards, significantly aiding in the win. This wasn’t the first time he led the Patriots in receptions this season, and he’s becoming a go-to target for Drake Maye. In fact, heading into the week, he held the second-highest catch rate among wideouts who ran at least 100 routes this season.
As the season has progressed, the skill players in New England are showing more value, and Hollins stands out among them. With an ownership rate below 2%, he could really be a hidden gem as we reach the midpoint of the season.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. New York Jets, 8:15 p.m. ET (Thursday night)
Jalen Naylor, WR, Minnesota Vikings (2.1%)
Despite the Vikings’ 27-19 loss to the Ravens, an interesting note is that their leading receiver wasn’t Justin Jefferson or Jordan Addison this time. Instead, Naylor made a significant impact, recording five catches for 124 yards and a touchdown, marking a standout performance for him. Until now, he hadn’t seen much action this season, but with JJ McCarthy possibly returning, there might be some synergy developing that could enhance the offense as the season continues.
If we can believe that his impressive showing wasn’t just a fluke, Naylor—owned in under 3% of leagues—should definitely be considered for waiver pickups.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET.
Tez Johnson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (37.6%)
The Buccaneers fell to the Patriots 28-23 in their first game back from a bye week, missing their star players, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. This created an opportunity for rookie Tez Johnson, who didn’t disappoint, securing four receptions for 42 yards and scoring two touchdowns. That brings his season total to four touchdowns; not too shabby for a seventh-round pick from Oregon State, especially amidst a slew of offensive injuries.
With Godwin’s status still uncertain, we could see further growth from Johnson in the coming weeks.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m. ET.
Troy Franklin, WR, Denver Broncos (57.7%)
The Broncos managed a narrow victory over the Raiders, winning 10-7, but the offense really struggled overall. In what was a quiet game, Franklin stood out with five catches for 40 yards—his performance even included the team’s only touchdown. This marks his fourth touchdown in four weeks, establishing him as a top-20 fantasy receiver across formats.
It’s likely this will be the last week he remains an available option on waivers, so if you need a boost, he’s worth considering—especially with a big game against the Chiefs on the horizon.
Week 11 Matchup
vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 4:25 p.m. ET
